![]() They better hope something worse doesn?t happen because a serious lawsuit could come from a serious accident from a faulty lift installation. I was completely forgotten about once I left the dealer. This is exactly why I will never again buy a lifted vehicle from a dealer who moves them on a regular basis, nor recommend anybody else buy one because the risk isn?t worth the reward. The faulty tire thing can go against buyer beware, but when these dealerships are subcontracting shoddy workmanship, I have completely lost any safe or confident feeling about a process that I would have normally preferred to do myself. ![]() I tried to be more than understanding and give them more than enough opportunity to follow up with me. I again told my salesman, who was again very sympathetic but I told him that management now had to do something and to let me know. Now I am really really mad at this point! I spent that day repairing the spare tire mount myself with new grade 8 bolts. Again, this could have fallen off my Jeep on the highway and killed someone and I would now be liable. The oversize spare tire had loosened up and was barely being held on by two bolts because their lift installer damaged a bolt and subsequently cut it off leaving an over hundred pound wheel hanging by only 2 bolts which had loosened up. Fast fwd a few more weeks and I hear a banging in the rear of the Jeep. My salesman passed along the message and nobody called me back to make right. Much to my dismay I contacted my salesman, who was more than apologetic, but I stressed that he pass along my dissatisfaction to management because I felt that I could have been killed or injured if my wheels had loosened up and felt that they didn?t care about me after the papers were signed. I decided to let the dealer know not only to see if they would make right on the lug nuts by chance, but to let them know their installer is doing not so good work and that my find might have something to do with the other Jeep losing its wheel. But in the process I found out that each of the 4 wheels had a damaged/ stripped lug nut that had to be forcibly removed. Well one of the first things I did was hand torque the lugs the day I bought my Jeep so no worries. When hearing about what happened, a staffer was surprised that nobody had contacted me to tell me to check my lug nuts. I thought, ?Holy cow, I hope nobody was hurt!? I only found out about the incident because I saw the damaged Jeep on a return trip to drop off the owner?s manual to my trade in. Well, about a week after I bought my Jeep I found out that a sister Jeep to mine that was sold a few days before I bought mine, was back at the dealer for repairs due to a rear wheel falling off. Apparently the same guy does the Glenbrook Jeeps as well. They sell lifted Jeeps and the lifts are installed by a contracted person not actually done through the dealerships service dept. I?m used to service after the sale and feel this is definitely not an emphasis at Warsaw Autoplex. That?s why it stinks to have to write this review. I bought a 2011 Lifted Wrangler Unlimited, which I absolutely love by the way. I hope she stays and will move up in the manager slot for all the hard work she did for me and the other customers I saw waiting/calling with no manager to be found. Much to my pleasure, I was notified my vehicle would be ready by the weekend and had strong empathetic apologies from the writer. I like a service department with a light turn over rate in staff and with the service manager avoiding customers, I don't see that happening. ![]() My biggest question is where is the manager to step up and help? Why didn't he call me back? After witnessing this in person the lack of managerial involvement with customers it will be a miracle if any of the staff will stay. She was very kind and kept me informed during the busy times after I found out (when I stopped in) that she was the only one there answering phones and helping customers. ![]() I find that appalling leaving the service writers to do the dirty work that the so called managers are supposed to do. I called multiple times and heard him whispering in the background telling her what to say. I asked for the service manager so I could get a loner vehicle and he refused to call me back. I admit I was a little distressed about not having my vehicle and feel badly about giving my service person a hard time. I recently had my vehicle in for repairs just before the holiday and found it had to stay and everything was covered under warranty.
